On the wings of drug company advertisements

Tonight my 3-year-old daughter notices a moth fluttering against the glass of our sliding doors and asks, with some trepidation, “Mommy, what is that?” I tell her not to worry, it’s just a moth, it can’t get inside. She sighs and says, “Maybe it’s a Lunesta butterfly?” It’s a good thing this week is TV-Turnoff Week or else she’ll be giggling at that bouncing happy face in the Zoloft ad again. Libraries have a bunch of events planned for this TV-Turnoff Week. Check out the Harford CountyPublic Library System’s new blog — just debuted this month — for details.
