Bel Air’s new Bonefish Grill restaurant opens Aug. 6

It’s now three days until we get to visit the first of the three restaurants opening up in the newly constructed addition to the Harford Mall. Bonefish Grill is scheduled to open at 4 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 6. When the kids and I were on a Webkinz and Waldo’s Sno-balls run at the mall Wednesday evening, we saw a bevy of people in white shirts and black pants come pouring out of the Bonefish Grill. I’m guessing they were workers. Some members of the press were invited to a media preview dinner scheduled for this coming Wednesday and Thursday, but it looks like the public can try it out for themselves starting Monday. The restaurant, owned by the same company that owns the Outback Steakhouse across the street, specializes in fresh fish prepared on an oak-burning grill. Next door to the Bonefish Grill, the sign for Five Guys Famous Burgers and Fries went up this week. On the other side of Bonefish Grill, a temporary sign for Qdoba Mexican Grill is visible in the front window. A Maggie Moos Ice Cream and Treatery and a Yankee Candle store are also scheduled to be added to the mall’s addition. I don’t have opening dates for these places, but if anyone has heard anything, please let me know.
