Cal Ripken World Series starts this week and host families are still needed


    Today was the day players for the Cal Ripken World Series were scheduled to start arriving in town and the Aegis newspaper reported this morning that the organization that runs the tournament was still looking for host families. The story said the series, which draws players from all around the world, needed six more families to volunteer to host players and drive them to games at the fields Harford County’s Hall of Famer built in Aberdeen.
