Bel Air Christmas Parade 2007 is canceled


    (Update 12/3: The Bel Air town planning department reports the Bel Air Christmas Parade 2007 won’t be rescheduled. They’ll just try again next year.)

    I noticed this blog has been getting a lot of hits from visitors looking for the Bel Air Christmas Parade so here’s the scoop:

    The parade starts at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 2. According to the Town of Bel Air’s Calendar of Events, the 18th annual Christmas Parade begins at Hickory Avenue and Courtland Street, to Lee Way ending at Pennsylania Avenue. This year’s parade is sponsored by Bel Air Economic and Community Development Commission and it’s to include floats, bands, Frosty the Snowman, the Grinch, the Cat in the Hat and Santa. Following the parade, there will be a Christmas Tree lighting, hot chocolate and a bonfire and Christmas carols in Shamrock Park. Awards will be given to top parade participants.
