Redner’s Markets, Inc. just sent me a press release announcing that they’ll be opening their newest store in the Hickory Village Shopping Center with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 8 a.m. June 25. They’ll offer shoppers a sneak peek the night before from 6-9 p.m. June 24 at the store at 2126 N. Fountain Green Rd./Rt. 543. According to the press release the store will offer:
“… in-store bakery, full service deli, fresh produce, and fresh meat departments, along with frozen, dairy, health and beauty aids/non-foods and grocery departments. New to Redner’s fresh seafood program, this store will offer a full-service seafood department featuring a variety of fresh product on a daily basis. This store will also feature UScan Self Check-Out Terminals.

Each UScan uses ATM-type technology that allows shoppers to pay with cash, credit or debit card, as well as, being able to use coupons and receive cash back from their transactions at the register.
