BANV & kids noticed the Waldo’s Sno-ball stand in the Harford Mall was open today and stopped by for a couple of egg custard sno-balls. (They opened for the season March 20.) We ate our sno-balls on the roadside picnic benches until the breeze made us shiver.
On our way to Target, we saw the nearly completed Walgreens had a sign up announcing it would be open on April 30. And, it appears they’re hiring. (It’s amazing how fast those things go up. We should hire them to build our schools.)
And then I got an e-mail from Kim Norris to let me know that her Tiddlywinks toy store was open on Main Street. Hours are 10am-6pm Tuesday through Saturday. I haven’t been there yet, but I plan to check it out soon. Kim has an interesting story about what inspired her to open the store. You can read about it on her website at www.tiddlywinkstoys.com.
