Foot’s Forecast says we will be getting snow today, but not a big storm

The often-accurate Foot’s Forecast says that today’s snow should arrive here around 3 p.m. today and fall as an intermittent rain and snow mix overnight until about 9 a.m. Tuesday. However, it says that we shouldn’t expect a big storm. The Baltimore Sun is predicting from 2 to 4 inches will fall. But the big question is, will we finally have school in Harford County on Tuesday? My middle school just told me he’s bored for the third time today and it’s only 9 a.m. And, he’s already cleaned, dusted and vacuumed his room! Howard County Schools already decided to remain closed Tuesday. No word yet on Harford County’s website. I was in Baltimore County yesterday and it seems that our roads are more clear than theirs, where there is still a great deal of snow in the streets packed around parked cars. Many streets have only enough room for one lane of traffic. Yet our snowbanks are high and our sidewalks aren’t clear and it’s unlikely kids will have an easy walk to the bus stops and schools for awhile.
