How are the roads in Harford County?

The morning after Snowmaggedon Part II, the Harford County road conditions look pretty good. The helpful folks on BANV’s Facebook page have been reporting that the major roads look clear; side streets are passable and even the cul de sacs are seeing some plow action this morning. A Harford County plow showed up in my cul de sac just as my husband was about to try and drive out over the snow. He reported that Red Pump and Vale roads were passable; Route 24 is completely clear — even in the shoulders and the Festival parking lot looked clear as well. I-95 was in good shape, he said. However, some of the ramps weren’t in great shape.

Here are some of the road reports recently posted on BANVs Facebook page:

Headed from Forest Hill to White Marsh. Went down Route 1 to Bradshaw, to Raphel, to Philadelphia. Main roads are ok but back roads are still covered. Best bet is to stay home if you can and let them finish clearing the roads. 8:50 a.m.

From Fallston to Festival in Bel Air- my husband was pleased with condition of the roads. Other than our neighborhood, all were in great condition. 8:50 a.m.

I live in Abingdon and once I got to 24, it was clear, 95 is fine, however 543 and Riverside Business Park are a bit hairy! Good luck! 8:50 a.m.
Husband made it to Rosedale from Bel Air using Rt40 Says it was easy driving and made it in normal time. 9 a.m.
My husband made it from Aberdeen to Baltimore City with no issues. Just took his time, the roads were ok, the side street (one way) he’s off of was a little icky – but he was fine in the 4×4. Good Luck everyone! 9:15 a.m.
Back in West Riding/East Valley Oaks are, we’ve had a plow or two but still down to one tricky lane… 9:15 a.m.
Also in West Riding – a plow must have come up our court during the night, but one lane only and there is a good 10 ft from the end of our driveway to the plowed area. But better than nothing. 🙂  9:15 a.m.
My husband left for work from our neighborhood in Fallston on his way to Cockeysville…Our neighborhood was okay, but he said Rt. 152 was great but Jarrettsville Pike was plowed but there still is snow on it. He is going to call me when he gets there to let me know the rest of the way… 9:20 a.m.
My DH made it to the other side of the Key Bridge without any problems. 9:20 a.m.
 Glenwood is plowed! 9:25 a.m.
543 is fine. made it to Belcamp from Bel Air, no problem. 9:45 a.m.
