C. Milton Wright & Fallston High School make Newsweek’s list of America’s Best High Schools

I read in the Aegis today that two Harford County high schools are included in Newsweek Magazine’s list of America’s Best High Schools for 2010. C. Milton Wright came in #1,369 and Fallston High School came in #1,608 of the 1,622 schools on the list, representing just 6 percent of the nation’s public high schools. Schools are ranked based on how hard school staffs work to challenge students with advanced-placement college-level courses and tests. Click here to read more about how Newsweek assembled its rankings. Maryland did quite well, with 98 of the state’s 185 public high schools making Newsweek’s list. #33 Richard Montgomery, Rockville
#59 Poolesville, Poolesville
#63 Bethesda-Chevy Chase, Bethesda
#75 Winston Churchill
#83 Wootton, Rockville
#85 Walt Whitman, Bethesda
#95 Walter Johnson, Bethesda
