The Harford County Department of Public Works’ Chief Engineer Jeff Stratmeyer has sent me some computer generated renderings of what the new Watervale Bridge over Winters Run will look like. Construction is scheduled to start this spring and continue for eight months. In the drawings, created by a Computer Aided Design and Drafting program, the bridge looks as it might if it existed in a video game. But, it does give a general idea of how it would fit into the surroundings. Jeff also sent along a scale drawing of the current design of the proposed bridge, to provide a more precise look at the project.
