Friday night is the last outdoor movie of the season at Shamrock Park. The movie Planet 51 will be shown at dusk, but entertainment begins at 7 p.m.

Havre de Grace Art Show
There’s an art show Sunday, Aug. 22 in Havre de Grace from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Tydings Memorial Park. The event, sponsored by the Soroptimist International of Havre de Grace, is to include more than 200 artists, live music, karaoke, entertainment and food. There is no admission fee.
Dauntless Baseball Home Game
They’ll be playing some 1860s-style baseball at the Steppingstone Museum in Havre de Grace Sunday, Aug. 21. The Havre de Grace Dauntless Baseball Club will play the Elkton Eclipse at noon, wearing 19th century uniforms and playing by 19th century rules. Looney’s Pub North will host a fundraiser to help families touched by leukemia on Sunday, Aug. 22. The event will feature the band Crushing Day. Band member Jim McFaul, lost his brother Anthony to leukemia and half of the proceeds raised at this event will go to help his family. The remainder of the proceeds will go to The Matthews Foundation, a group dedicated to helping children with leukemia. The event is scheduled noon to 8:30 p.m. at Looney’s, 312 N. Main St., Bel Air.
