Things to do around Bel Air this weekend


It’s another peach festival! It’s called PeachFest and it’s to be held on Main Street in Delta, Pa., from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 28 rain or shine (parking is at 69988 Delta Road). The event is hosted by the Delta Cardiff Whiteford Business Organization and is to include locally-grown peaches, a peach pie contest, crafters, food, activities for kids and live entertainment. The Harold Tipton Band and the Bean Soup Project are scheduled to perform. The event will benefit the Delta-Cardiff and Whiteford Fire companies and Mason-Dixon Community Services. Yard Sales
Starting at 7:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 28 at 2201 Harford Rd. Fallston, this yard sale features LOTS of Baby and childrenstuff, electronics!! Something for everyone!!

Yard sale Saturday, August 28 8am-1pm at 360 Delmar Court in Abingdon. I’ve got some used items like baby and toddler, household, clothes, books, Little Tikes Playground. But, I also have new items from couponing like Shampoo, Razors, Edge shave gel, Colgate toothpaste, Trix cereal and more!!

There is a Dance Wear Yard Sale tomorrow, Saturday, August 28th, 10am-2pm at Rage Box Contemporary Dance Center, 121A Industry Lane, Forest Hill. Come all dancers, dance parents, groups, schools. There will be gently used dance shoes, clothing, accessories and one of a kind costumes(some group pieces) for sale. Nothing over $15! All proceeds benefit the Rage Box Contemporary Dance Company. 

Cheerleader Car Wash
Help support the North Harford High School Cheerleaders with a donation at their car wash 10 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 28 at the Einstein Bros Bagels, 600 Market Place Drive, in Bel Air across from Home Depot.

Plumpton Park Zoo Clean up and Repair
Volunteers are gathering at 9 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 28 at the recently closed Plumpton Park Zoo, 1416 Telegraph Road in Rising Sun to help clean it up and repair fences in preparation for its planned reopening. A New Jersey couple, with an interest in exotic animals, hopes to reopen the zoo in time to offer weekend hours this fall. They ask that volunteers bring cleaning supplies and any tools that would help with fence repair, like post hole diggers. For more information, visit

Havre de Grace Antique Crawl
The Antique Crawl in the 400 block of Franklin Street is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 28. The event is sponsored by Havre de Grace Main Street.
