Well, this is a little unnerving…
The people at the Harford County Public Library just asked me to promote their disaster preparedness event. There will be a presentation at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 29 at the library’s Fallston branch and another one at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 30 at the library’s Edgewood branch.
Emergency Preparedness Night: Are you ready for a disaster?
Harford County is vulnerable to effects from hurricanes, severe winter storms, man-made accidents (hazardous materials, nuclear power plant incidents or fires) and other disasters. The Harford County Division of Emergency Operations and the Harford County Citizen Corps Council offer Emergency Preparedness Training to make sure you, and your family or business, are prepared. A raffle will be held for an Emergency Preparedness Kit. For everyone.
Registration required. To register or for more information, call 410-638-3003.
