22, the six Harford County stores will donate of 2 percent of that day’s sales to the Aegis Empty Stocking Fund — a non-profit organization, sponsored by Homestead Publishing Company (publishers of The Aegis, The Record, APG News and Weekenders), that helps Harford Countians during the holiday season with food, clothing, housing, utilities, medicine, toys and more. Each store will also make a $10,000 contribution to the Maryland Food Bank, to be dedicated to the Harford Community Action Agency, which runs Harford County’s food bank program.
The celebrity baggers will be at three ShopRite stores Wednesday. If you shop at any of the stores listed below, during the posted hours, you might get to see any one of the following local notables working at the end of the conveyor belt:
Harford County Executive David Craig; Maryland State Senators Barry Glassman and Nancy Jacobs, City of Aberdeen Mayor Michael Bennett, Town of Bel Air Administrator Christopher Schlehr, Harford County Sheriff L.
