The final elementary redistricting map has been posted to the Harford County Public Schools website. Click here to see it. There will be one last public hearing on this plan on Feb. 14 and then the Board of Education is scheduled to adopt it at its Feb. 28 meeting. However, the district is continuing to accept parent input at (elementaryredistricting@hcps.org). This final map returns a portion of the students, who were slated to move to Jarrettsville Elementary, back to Youths Benefit Elementary, according to a story on ExploreHarford.com. Youths Benefit parents have been vocal about their desire for their children to remain at Youths Benefit.

The district’s redistricting webpage also includes individual maps for each school’s new enrollment area next year, so you can click to easily see which streets are included in your school’s area.
