Monday night is the last chance for parents concerned about the Harford County Public Schools’ elementary redistricting process to have their say in a public forum before the Board of Education. The final public hearing on the district’s plan to fill the new Red Pump Elementary School and balance enrollment among its 33 elementary schools is scheduled 7:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 14 in the board room at the A. A. Roberty Building, 102 S. Hickory Avenue. The hearing follows the Board of Education’s regular meeting, which starts at 5 p.m. and includes a closed door session from 6:15 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., after which the public hearing will be held. See below for a copy of the meeting’s agenda. The Board of Education is scheduled to adopt the redistricting plan at its Feb. 28 meeting. However, the district is continuing to accept parent input at (email@example.com).
