Woman dies of injuries sustained in Wednesday’s fire at her Kirby Circle home; police are investigating fire as suspicious

The Aegis is reporting today that the 44-year-old woman rescued from a fire at her Kirby Circle home on Wednesday has died of her injuries and police and fire marshals are investigating the incident as suspicious. Kathleen M. Ellis died of her injuries, which included smoke inhalation and thermal burns, later in the day Wednesday at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center. Ellis was the only person in the home when Harford County Sheriff’s Deputies found her unconscious on the floor of a second floor bedroom of her home.
