April 15 Bull Roast and Silent Auction to benefit German Exchange Program

The Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd German Exchange will host a bull roast and silent auction Friday, April 15 from 8 p.m. to midnight at Richlin Ballroom, 1700 Van Bibber Road, Edgewood. Tickets are $40 per person. Tables of 10 available. All proceeds benefit the German Exchange, which promotes cultural understanding and fellowship for German and American youths and adults. German high school youth and their adult chaperones will visit Bel Air for two weeks this summer. While here, the Germans will stay with host families around Harford County to enjoy sightseeing and fun with youths and adults from the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd.

Hear ‘Table for Five Thousand’ musical during worship

The 2010-2011 Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd Concert Series will present the musical “Table for Five Thousand” by Allen Pote Sunday, April 3, 2011 at the 8 and 11 a.m. services, featuring the youth choirs of Good Shepherd. Youth Weekend focuses on Discipleship at Good Shepherd

All are invited to Youth Weekend at The Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, 1515 Emmorton Road, Bel Air, when the middle and high school youth of Good Shepherd create and offer both worship services! Holy Week begins Palm Sunday, April 17, at The Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, 1515 Emmorton Road, Bel Air. All are invited to services with palms at 8 and 11 a.m. There will be one Maundy Thursday service at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 21. Good Shepherd invites you to celebrate Easter!

The Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, 1515 Emmorton Road, Bel Air, offers four services to celebrate Easter. The Easter Vigil, the first service of Easter, will move from the darkness of Good Friday to the joy and light of Easter on Saturday, April 23 at 6 p.m.

New Members’ Class begins May 1 at Good Shepherd

If you would like to become a member of The Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, 1515 Emmorton Road, Bel Air, or learn more about the church’s ministries, please join us beginning Sunday, May 1 at 9:30 a.m. in the Celebration Hall classroom for our New Members’ Class series.
