The newly named Habitat for Humanity Susquehanna — a recent combination of the Harford Habitat for Humanity and Habitat for Humanity of Cecil County — is looking for volunteers. Here’s what Volunteer Coordinator Abrielle Willis says you can do to help:

Have you heard the great news?

Harford Habitat for Humanity and Habitat for Humanity of Cecil County have merged into one new affiliate — Habitat for Humanity Susquehanna.

This merger brings with it a demand for new volunteers.

If you can swing a hammer, you can help! No experience is necessary, just a willingness to learn. Habitat Susquehanna provides an experienced crew leader on each house build site who will provide on-the-job training.

From roofing and siding to painting and cleanup, there is always something to do at a Habitat work site!

By working side-by-side with the family who will live in the house, our volunteers experience for themselves the joy created when a family is able to realize their dream of home ownership.
