The Fallston Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS) group is hosting a spaghetti dinner fundraiser tomorrow night to help the family of Seth Dunlap, a local Marine, husband and father who was seriously injured in a June 10th dirt bike accident. The dinner is 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 21 at the United Methodist Church of Fallston, 1509 Fallston Rd. The cost is $7 per adult and $4 per child or $20 per family. Elise’s Honor fundraiser to support First Candle, Oct. 15
Kelly Tagliaferri, whose daughter was stillborn in 2009, is working to bring awareness of pregnancy loss with an October fundraiser to support First Candle – a national voluntary health organization uniting parents, caregivers, and researchers nationwide with government, business and community service groups to advance fetal and infant health and survival. The event called Elise’s Honor, in remembrance of Kelly’s daughter, is 5:30 to 8:30 Saturday, Oct. 15 at MacGregor’s Restaurant, 331 St. John St., Havre de Grace. Tickets are $30 for adults, $15 for children age 3-10 and free for children under 3. Entertainment will be provided by DJ Davey B from ProProductions DJ.
