The 5th Annual Harford Fall Festival comes to the Harford County Equestrian Center 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 15. This annual fundraising event for Harford County’s less fortunate features an old-fashioned country fair complete with pony and hay rides, crafts and vendors, food and live music on three stages. Beneficiaries include Harford Family House, Welcome One, Habitat for Humanity Susquehanna, Mason Dixon Community Services, Extreme Family Outreach and Harford Community Action Agency Emergency Food Pantry. These organizations are in need of both funding and volunteers.
Harford Fall Festival Founder & Chairperson, Anne’ Marie Vomero-Battis said, “We thought that by initiating a grand fundraising event, it would be a way to tangibly help, as well as raise awareness for these on-going needs for those going through a difficult time in our community. In our current economy, those needs are growing every day. Together, we will be helping our community grow stronger by investing in its people. ”
