Small Critter of the Week – HUGO
Age: 6 years
Adoption Fee: $50
Hello! My name is Hugo, and I’m a handsome Iguana. I was surrendered because my owners could no longer care for me. You have to see me to believe me! I am about 3-4 feet long from head to tail and I love my fresh fruits and veggies! Yum, yum! I am looking for someone with experience with reptiles, who understands what we need and who isn’t afraid to handle me. I’m in the Critter Cottage basking under my heat lamp!
Cat of the Week – MISTY
Age: 4 years
Color: Black, Tan & White Tabby
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Adoption Fee: $95
Hi, my name is Misty, and I am just shy of my 4th birthday! I was surrendered because my owners could no longer care for me, but I promise I’m a good girl. Just give me a few days to adjust to a new home, and I’ll be good to go. If you have other pets at home, the staff here can explain the best way to do introductions. I’m a mild-mannered soul who wants nothing more than the love of a family who will promise to take care of me for the rest of my life.
Dog of the Week – CANE
Age: 10.5 years
Color: Tan & White
Breed: American Pit Bull Terrier Mix
Adoption Fee: $47.50 (reduced from $95)
Hello, my name is Cane and I came to the Humane Society because my owner could not care for me any more. They say I’m an older dog, but maybe they overestimated the age a bit ’cause I still think I’m a puppy – just a more mature, well-mannered one 🙂 I love to run and chase toys in the yard, go on long walks, and get belly rubs! Oh, I almost forgot, I especially love getting my treats from the volunteers and sitting with them on the bench. So if you are looking for a mature but fun-loving dog that has many good years left – I’m the one for you! (P.S. I am a member of the Lonely Hearts Club, so my adoption fee is reduced by 50%!)
