Harford County Public Library now has Disney digital books


The Harford County Public Library sent along the following news about its new Disney digital book collection:



(Belcamp, Maryland – January 5, 2012)  Attention Disney fans! Mickey, Donald, Ariel and all the gang can now be found online through the new collection of Disney Digital Books accessible on Harford County Public Library’s website!


Always available with no wait lists, these new and classic Disney books for children of all ages include interactive online books read right in your web browser, and a selection of young adult, popular titles available to download to your eReader.  Interactive features include a ‘magic pen’ that pronounces words with just one click; the ability to find definitions in the dictionary; and fun with Trivia Challenges.


All you need is a library card to access 280 popular titles like 101 Dalmatians, The Littlest Mermaid and Peter Pan. Just go to Children’s Digital Library on the Library’s website, HCPLonline.org, and click on the Disney Digital Books graphic to browse the collection. At the end of the lending period, titles automatically expire and are returned to the collection.


Disney Digital Library is from Overdrive and is made available through the Maryland Digital eLibrary Consortium. Overdrive is a full-service digital distributor of eBooks, audiobooks, music and video.
