Family members sent along the following information about a memorial service scheduled Friday to celebrate the life of Ms. Zenobia Todd, who died suddenly at her home on April 5:

Memorial Service Planned for Ms. Zenobia Todd, “Grandma Gone Wild” 2008 Aberdeen City Council Candidate and mother of 2010 State Delegate Candidate, Marla Posey-Moss

Ms. Zenobia Todd, age 68, educator, entreprenuer and activist (daughter of 99 year-old Carrie Todd & the late Zemriah Todd) passed away suddenly on Thursday, April 5, 2012 at her residence in Aberdeen. As a devoted mother and friend of son, Don Shelton (Marilyn), and daughters, Carla Shelton-Rogers (Donnie), and Marla Posey-Moss (Carlton, Jr.), she exuded a Purpose Driven Life. She was a proud grandmother and confidant to Aibonez, Justice, Dayla, Dillon, Carlton III, and Lillian.She was a long-time substitute within Harford County Public Schools and Baltimore City Public Schools, participant within the 21st Century Program, promoter of using Cisco-Telepresence in the classroom, Candidate for Aberdeen City Council under the “Grandma Gone Wild” slogan and overall active contributor to the citizens of Harford County and students everywhere she worked.Her final resting place is at the Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery in Cleveland (Bedford Heights), OH with a wake held on Friday, April 13 and a Homegoing Celebration Service the following day. In addition to being survived by her mom, children and grandchildren, she leaves behind two brothers, Zemriah (Jean) Todd, Leo Porter and one sister Dorcas Todd and a host of brilliant nieces and nephews.

As the inquiry from the community has been tremendous regarding the desire to celebrate her life, her involvement and overall genuiness as a person, the family is having a memorial service this Friday, April 27th, at the Helping Hands Ministries located at 3237 Level Road in Churchville, MD 21028 from 6:30PM to 7:30PM.

Afterward, there will be a refreshment and chat-n-chew at her Highland Commons apartment complex located at 25 Lincoln Avenue in Aberdeen from 7:45PM to 8:30PM.

Everyone will be able to enjoy a relaxing atmosphere and commemorative time and all are welcome.Best of all, there will a wonderful video presentation of her life.
