Guitarist and vocalist Kathy Moser and musical guest Trina Hamlin are performing a free concert tonight at St. Margaret’s Church with a focus on recovery. Moser is also offering a song-writing workshop on Saturday in Havre de Grace. Here are the details:
Set Your Recovery to Music!
For many people getting clean and sober means not going to concerts anymore, at least at first. This month Father Martin’s Ashley will be giving people in recovery the opportunity to enjoy, explore and deepen their recovery through music.
Award winning songwriter and performer Kathy Moser, a nationally touring artist with 4 CDs to her credit, will be giving a series of concerts and workshops designed to celebrate and strengthen recovery.
Friday April 20th at 7PM join Kathy and musical guest Trina Hamlin, for a musical celebration of recovery. The high-energy interactive show will feature songs written across the country by people in recovery. This performance is free and open to the public. Reserve your spot by calling 410-273-2303.

Saturday, April 21st at 9AM come enjoy a fun, interactive, hands-on day creating your own soundtrack for recovery and strengthening your recovery skills. Kathy Moser will lead the group through the process of writing a song on a recovery topic. No prior musical experience is required. We will complete a song from start to finish, that you can share with your friends in recovery. In the afternoon we will take a musical journey through the landscape of early recovery.
