Award-winning executive chef of Baltimore’s Charleston restaurant Cindy Wolf is scheduled to speak June 7 at the Veronica “Roni” Chenowith Activity Center in Fallston. Here are the details:

Bel Air, MD – The Harford County Department of Community Services is proud to announce the “Meet the Authors” series happening in June 2012 at the Veronica “Roni” Chenowith Activity Center, located at 1707 Fallston Road in Fallston.

On Thursday, June 7, 6 p.m., Cindy Wolf, award-winning executive chef, will tell her journey story from the low-country cuisine of Charleston to the high-end fine dining of France.  From two ends of the food spectrum and her success in a male-dominated world, learn more about Chef Cindy Wolf’s story in “A Female’s Journey through the World of Food with Executive Chef and Restaurateur Cindy Wolf” at the “Meet the Authors” series on June 7.

The “Meet the Authors” Series is part of the Journey Stories Smithsonian Exhibition coming to various locations throughout Harford County, May 11 – June 6.  Journey Stories is part of The Museum on Main Street, a collaboration between the Smithsonian Institution and the Maryland Humanities Council.  The exhibition and accompanying programs are offered to the public through a partnership between the Harford County Department of Community Services and Harford County Public Library.
