Halloween and trick or treat events around Bel Air

Here’s a listing of Halloween events coming up around Bel Air. Trunk O’ Treat event at  Central Christian, Oct. 26

Central Christian off of Rossville Blvd is having their annual Trunk O’ Treat event on Friday the 26th from 6-8:30. Only $1 per Trunk O Treater and includes live animal display/encounters, bounce houses, concessions, tons of candy via trunks of course, crafts and balloons! Fun Fun Fun!! 24th annual Halloween Costume Parade at Festival at Bel Air, Oct. 27

Beard’s Hill Plaza costume parade, Oct. 27

Registration for the Beard’s Hill Plaza costume parade is at 10:30 a.m. in front of the plaza’s ShopRite store on Saturday, Oct. 27. Trick or treating in the plaza will continue until 2 p.m.

Riverside Plaza costume parade, Oct. 27

Registration for the Riverside Plaza costume parade is at 10:30 a.m. in front of the plaza’s ShopRite store on Saturday, Oct. 27. Trick or treating in the plaza will continue until noon.

Trick or Treat on Main Street in Bel Air, Oct. 27

Trick or Treat on Main Street in Bel Air at 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27. Put on your best costumes, grab a bag for your candy and come visit the stores of Main Street for some goodies. Chili Cook Off fundraiser for Toys for Tots at Dark Horse Saloon in Bel Air, Oct. 27

The Dark Horse Saloon in downtown Bel Air is hosting a Chili Cook Off fundraiser to benefit Toys for Tots from noon to 6 p.m. Oct. 27 in the restaurant’s parking lot at 119 S. Main St. Please bring a toy or a donation for Toys for Tots and enjoy face painting, pumpkin painting and a costume contest. Anyone can enter the Chili Cook Off contest and the winner is to receive a gift basket to include gift certificates to a variety of local businesses. Hawks Hill Creamery’s Pumpkin Fest, Oct. 27 – 28

Hawks Hill Creamery’s Pumpkin Fest features a pumpkin patch, kid friendly corn maze, petting zoo, hayrides, and lots of other activities too.  Fall mums and other decorating ideas available. Hours are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday at 805 Highland Rd. in Street. Admission is free. Oak Grove Baptist Church Fall Fest 2012, Oct. 28

Legends of the Fog Twilight Trick or Treat Hayride for kids, Oct. 28

Legends of the Fog is hosting a Twilight Trick or Treat Hayride for children age 10 and under from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 28 at 500 Carsins Run Rd.  in Aberdeen. 3rd Annual Funfest, Oct. 28

Good Cause in Havre de Grace is hosting its 3rd Annual Funfest Sunday, Oct. 28 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. in Tydings Park. Free carnival games, bouncyhouses, facepainting, petting zoo, pumpkin decorating, music, hotdogs, popcorn, candy, and a FREE raffle!  Bring your family and friends and dress up in your favorite Halloween costume.  Admission and all activities are free; however if you are able, we invite you to bring a new, unwrapped children’s book to donate to our Christmas with a Cause initiative. Vests for Visibility, Oct. 29-31

The State Highway Administration is offering residents the chance to borrow reflective vests for increased visibility during trick or treating from all SHA maintenance facilities between 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 29 through Oct. 31. Vests must be returned by Nov. 9. Harford County residents can borrow vests from the Churchville shop at 3050 Churchville Road.

Havre de Grace Halloween parade, Oct. 30

Registration for the Havre de Grace Halloween parade, sponsored by the Havre de Grace Recreation Committee starts at 6 p.m. with the parade beginning at 6:30 p.m. Costumed marchers should meet at the corner of Washington Street and Congress Avenue.
