The movie opens December 14th. Now, it’s time to discuss the book and the movie. Zoo lights at Plumpton Park Zoo, through Dec. 30

Plumpton Park Zoo in Rising Sun is hosting its Zoo Lights event from 6 p.m. to  9 p.m. daily through Dec. 30. See the animals at night in the glow of Christmas lights. Crohn’s & Colitis monthly support group meeting, Jan. 22

A support group for people dealing with Crohn’s & Colitis is forming. The group welcomes people who have the disease and their family and friends. The next meeting is scheduled 7 p.m. Jan. 22 in the Maryland Room at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center, 500 Upper Chesapeake Drive in Bel Air. The American Legion 500 N. Hickory Ave will be having a tribute to Neil Diamond & Karen Carpenter featuring Sammy K & Kemi Doran on Sat Jan. 26, 2013. Doors open at 6 pm and the show starts at 7 pm. Tickets are $20.00 each. Includes food (lite fare), soda, and beer.
