County Executive FY 2014 Public Budget Hearing Postponed

Harford County Executive David R. Craig’s FY 2014 public budget hearing scheduled for this evening at Aberdeen High School is postponed due to the weather and closing of Harford County Public Schools today.

The public budget hearing will be rescheduled in the near future.

 

Harford County Executive David R. Craig has scheduled a Jan. 28 public hearing on the FY 14 budget. Here are the details:

County Executive to Hold Public Budget Hearing

Session will be held at Aberdeen High School

(Bel Air, MD) – - Harford County Executive David R. Craig will host a public hearing on the FY 14 budget on Monday, January 28, 2013. The budget hearing will be held at Aberdeen High School and will begin at 6:00 p.m. in the school auditorium.

“As my staff and I begin preparations for the FY 2014 budget for Harford County, I want to hear from the citizens regarding their concerns and recommendations,” County Executive Craig stated.

Joining the County Executive for the hearing will be members of his cabinet and county budget officials.

The FY 14 fiscal budget will be prepared between January and late March of 2013. The proposed budget will be presented to the Harford

County Council by April 1, 2013.

Those wishing to speak during the budget hearing should arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the start of the session to sign in. Those addressing the County Executive and staff will be given three minutes to comment unless representing an organization. Those speaking on behalf of a group or organization will be allotted five minutes to speak.
