The Arc Northern Chesapeake Region announced that Mona Figueroa has been named its Vocational Director. Here are the details:
The Arc Northern Chesapeake Region Welcomes Mona Figueroa
[Aberdeen] – The Arc NCR is pleased to announce the appointment of Mona Figueroa as Vocational Director.
Ms. Figueroa has an undergraduate degree in Psychology from Clarion State University and a Masters in Psychology from Midwestern State University. She has more than 23 years of experience in the mental health field.
Ms. Figueroa was formerly involved with North Baltimore Community Mental Health Center, Harford County Office of Mental Health and Alliance, Inc. At Alliance, Inc., she worked to implement and develop support services for veteran Supportive Services for Veteran Families Program (SSVF). She has also served on The Arc NCR Standing Committee to ensure individuals rights are being upheld for over the last ten years, and served a one year term as committee chair.
Ms. Figueroa is excited about sharing her talents, experiences and energy to make a difference in the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in our community.
