Bel Air’s sweetFrog accepting donations for local food bank, Sept. 16-22

sweetFrog, which has a location in Bel Air — locally owned by Chelsea Robinson — is celebrating the opening of its 300th store nationwide by donating 300,000 meals to fight childhood hunger, coinciding with Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry campaign. From Sept. 16-22, Bel Air’s sweetFrog will also be collecting canned and non-perishable food donations for the local food bank. In addition, local froyo fanatics can enter for a chance to win 100 free 12 oz. cups of yogurt. Touch a Truck Event at Hawk’s Hill Creamery, Sept. 21

The Children’s Center of North Harford is hosting its second annual Touch a Truck Event on Saturday, September 21 from 11 am – 3 pm at Hawk’s Hill Creamery, 805 Highland Road Street. Admission is $7 per child with a $20 maximum per family. Adults and children under age 2 are free. The event is to include face painting, live music, trackless train rides, pony rides (for an additional charge), a bounce house and a petting zoo.
