Free State Montessori School Celebrates Annual Winter Craft Fair, Dec. 14

Free State Montessori School is proud to present their Annual Winter Craft Fair on Saturday, December 14th from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Festival will feature craft vendors, a food court, pit beef, Santa’s workshop and a 50/50 raffle. The annual holiday event raises funding for Free State Montessori School located at 12536 Harford Road in Fork, Maryland. The event is free and open to the public. Historical Society of Harford County’s Holiday Greens Sale & Book Signing with Charles Robbins, Dec. 14

Historical Society of Harford County’s Holiday Greens Sale & Book Signing with Charles Robbins is 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Dec. 14. at  the Society headquarters, 143 N. Main St. in Bel Air. The sale, which is in its tenth year features freshly handmade table arrangements, swags, wreathes and loose greens. The Society is fortunate to have several volunteers who are former floral designers and who donate their talents to the sale each year. The Society’s gift shop will also be open for Christmas shopping. Also that day from 11AM-1PM the Society will also host a book signing by Charles Robbins. Chuck Robbins, as he is popularly known, will be signing copies of his newly published book ‘The Heavenly Waters Gang’. Along with the Greens Sale and Book signing our Annual Model Train Show will also be running through the weekend. Bike MS: Chesapeake Challenge 2014 in Easton, MD May 31 – June 1, 2014

Participants will enjoy the quaint, scenic, waterfront communities of Tolghman Island, Oxford, St. Michaels and Trappe. After enjoying lunch along Saturday’s routes, cyclists will ride on the Oxford Bellevue ferry to continue cycling along the routes. Chesapeake Challenge is fully supported with rest stops every 7-15 miles stocked with snacks, ice cold drinks, and cheering volunteers. All along the routes you’ll find Support and Gear vehicles, professional medical volunteers and bike mechanics to keep you going to the finish line. Complimentary meals beginning Saturday breakfast through Sunday lunch are provided to all participants and volunteers. Be sure to join us for a fun Saturday night themed party where we honor our top teams and individuals.
