Railroad Station Museum in Stewartstown, Dec. 29

The Railroad Station Museum in Stewartstown, Pa. is open 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. It’s decorated for the season and features a operating model train. Holiday Open House at Anita C. Leight Estuary Center from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. for all ages. Hang out with the critters, visit with a naturalist and enjoy refreshments. The Anita C. Leight Estuary Center is at 700 Otter Point Rd., Abingdon.

Bike MS: Chesapeake Challenge 2014 in Easton, MD May 31 – June 1, 2014

Participants will enjoy the quaint, scenic, waterfront communities of Tolghman Island, Oxford, St. Michaels and Trappe. After enjoying lunch along Saturday’s routes, cyclists will ride on the Oxford Bellevue ferry to continue cycling along the routes. Chesapeake Challenge is fully supported with rest stops every 7-15 miles stocked with snacks, ice cold drinks, and cheering volunteers. All along the routes you’ll find Support and Gear vehicles, professional medical volunteers and bike mechanics to keep you going to the finish line. Complimentary meals beginning Saturday breakfast through Sunday lunch are provided to all participants and volunteers. Be sure to join us for a fun Saturday night themed party where we honor our top teams and individuals. Founded by three Harford County homebrewers who sensed the need for a local source of homebrewing supplies, AleCraft Brewing Supply opened recently in downtown Bel Air. Visit the store at at 6 Office Street for everything you need for home brewing — a trend that started in 1978 when home brewing was legalized and took off in the early 2000 fueled by internet-based discussion forums, and online sales.
