Dog of the Week – KONA
Age: 7 years
Color: Black & Tan
Breed: Rottweiler Mix
Gender: Female
Adoption Fee: $95
Meet Kona, a 7-year-old pretty lady who is a very sweet and gentle girl with a lot of love to give. And what an affectionate personality! If you’ve been looking for a laid-back dog who’s more of a couch potato, you’ve got to come and meet Kona. We’re pretty sure she has hip dysplasia, so she should go to a home where she won’t have to navigate lots of steps. We recommend she remain on a glucosamine supplement to keep her joints well oiled. Please don’t miss out on the love of a beautiful dog because you’re afraid of her age. Older dogs make the most loyal and loving companions!
Cat of the Week – GEORGE
Age: 4 years
Color: Brown, Tan & White
Breed: Domestic Shorthair Mix
Gender: Male
Adoption Fee: $25
George is a fun, little sweetie who came to the shelter as a homeless stray in hopes of finding a home forever! He is as affectionate as can be and loves snuggling with his favorite people. Although he is four years old, George enjoys his playtime and will keep you entertained. As you can see, he is a handsome brown tabby with a cute little white bib and only weighs nine pounds! George is the full package who will only be complete with a family to love and cherish him, so stop by the shelter today and take George home! (The adoption fee for all cats and kittens is $25 until the end of October.)
Small Critter of the Week – SIMON
Age: 2 years
Color: Brown & White
Breed: Rabbit
Gender: Male
Adoption Fee: $25
Meet Simon, an intelligent, social boy who’s affectionate and will make a wonderful companion to someone. We just love his fluffy fur and his cute little brown markings! Did you know that rabbits can be litter trained? Rabbits can also get along with cats and well-behaved dogs, but interactions should always be supervised. If you’ve been thinking about adopting a rabbit, come and meet Simon in the Critter Cottage!
