Cool Jazz Concert at John Carroll High School, Feb. 7

Join the Bel Air Community Jazz Ensemble and the John Carroll Jazz Ensemble for a night of “cool jazz” on Saturday, February 7, 2015, at 5:30 PM, in the John Carroll High School auditorium. Tickets are $20 a seat  $15 for students 18 and under. The event is a fundraiser in support of air conditioning the Band and Chorus rooms – a priority of the Lighting the Way Capital Campaign. Warehouse Clearance sale to benefit SARC, Feb. 8

Tiny Toes children’s boutique is hosting a Warehouse Clearance sale to benefit SARC from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Feb. 8 at Silks at Bulle Rock Golf Course, 320 Blenheim Lane in Havre de Grace. All clothing is $12, all Shoes are $18 and all outerwear is $24. Includes children’s clothing for boys and girls from newborn to size 12.

Harford County Chamber of Commerce annual dinner, Feb. 11

The Harford County Chamber of Commerce will show appreciation for its members during the 2015 Annual Dinner, a celebration of success and gratitude, on February 11th from 6:00 – 10:00 p.m. at Water’s Edge Events Center in Belcamp. The theme of this year’s event is “An Affair to Remember,” and features renowned celebrity chef John Shields, host of PBS’ Coastal Cooking and owner of Gertrude’s Restaurant at the Baltimore Museum of Art. A portion of proceeds will benefit the Chamber’s Education Foundation to support their Scholarship Fund. “An Affair to Remember” is open for registration to Chamber members and non-members. The cost is $75 per person in advance, and $80 the week of the event for Chamber members. The non-member cost is $90 in advance and $95 the week of the event.
