Friday, June 26

Outdoor movie night in Shamrock Park presents “Paddington,” June 26

Bel Air Downtown Alliance hosts its outdoor movie night June 26 at Shamrock Park. The event starts at 6:30 p.m. with pre-movie entertainment provided by the Bel Air Cultural Arts Commission. The movie, “Paddington” begins at dusk. The movie is sponsored by Sylvan Learning Center of Bel Air. Entertainment provided by Up With Kids.

Harford Community College’s Sizzling Summer Movie Series features “Finding Nemo,”  June 26

Harford Community College presents its Sizzling Summer Movie Series on Friday afternoons this summer at the HCC Chesapeake Theater. “Finding Nemo” is to be presented at 1 p.m. June 26. Come at 12:15 p.m. when Aqua Culture Swim School will be presenting on Water Safety prior to the movie. Tickets are $5 for all movies. Darlington Independence Day celebration, June 27

Darlington celebrates Independence Day June 27. The parade starts at 5:30 p.m. at the truck scales and weigh station on Route 1 in Darlington. After the parade, there will be entertainment and food vendors at Silver Park. Fireworks start at dusk. During the parade, Route 1 at Castleton Road will be closed to through traffic along with Main Street in Darlington and the southern part of Shuresfill Road from Main Street to Silver Park.

Farm Visitation Day, June 28

Farm Visitation Day is coming up 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. June 28 at Keyes Creamery on Hopewell Road in Aberdeen. The event is hosted by the Harford County Farm Bureau. For more information, call 443-619-4975.

Culture Camp Comes to Harford County, July 20-24

The Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Harford County, located in Churchville, is sponsoring  a camp for children entering kindergarten through 5th grade from July 20th to July 24th. The students will learn how children live in other countries, the games they play, the songs they sing, the food they eat and the languages they speak. The fun will be from 9 am – noon each day. St. Mary’s Peach Festival, Aug. 1

 
This year will mark the 11th anniversary for St. Mary’s Episcopal Church’s Annual Peach Festival. This year’s Festival will be
