Dog of the Week – TEDDI
Age: 3 years
Color: Red & White
Breed: Pit Bull Terrier Mix
Adoption Fee: $50
Hey there, I’m Teddi, and aren’t you just in love with my floppy ears and sweet face? In case you were wondering, the answer is yes, I am a big, lovable, goofy teddy bear! I am just brimming with energy, and I love long walks or runs (hint: I’d make an excellent workout partner). I tend to be a leader, not a follower, so if you have another dog at home, I’d prefer a submissive one who lets me call the shots. I tolerate other males, but I prefer females. With all my energy, I’d actually love to have another dog around who likes to play.
For the month of October, the shelter is offering all dogs over 1 year old for just $50!
Cat of the Week – RAVEN
Age: 4½ years
Breed: Domestic Shorthair
Adoption Fee: $25
Oh hello, seems I’ve overslept in my big, comfy bed…again. My name’s Raven and I’m a super sweet girl who’s soon going to be celebrating my fifth birthday. When I’m not enjoying a good cat nap, my friends here at the shelter call me “Happy Feet” because I am always happy and dancing. If you’re looking for a beautiful, lovable lap cat, I’m your girl, but I prefer to be the only furry princess in the house!
For the month of October, the shelter is offering all cats and kittens for just $25!
Small Critter of the Week – BUTTER BEAN
Adoption Fee: $20
Rats make wonderful pets! Hi, I’m Butter Bean and I’m a little white female domesticated rat. Rats are extremely friendly and sociable and when handled gently, we quickly learn to enjoy riding on your shoulders and napping in your lap. We are also very curious, intelligent and always up for some fun. I’d love to be adopted into a home where there’s another female rat, but if not, just please provide me with plenty of toys and handling so I stay mentally alert and physically fit.
