Havre de Grace Haunted History Ghost Tours, Oct. 9 & 10
Is Havre de Grace Haunted? Take a Haunted History Ghost Tour and find out! A significant factor in Havre de Grace tours is that the history and murder stories are TRUE stories documented either by newspaper or local historians. And the ghost stories are first-hand accounts told to Main Street from the people who experienced them. The tours are scheduled for 7:00 pm and 8:30 pm and last about 1½ hours. Private tours can be scheduled for groups of at least 10 or more throughout the year by calling (410)939-1811. One week’s notice is required to schedule the tour. At each point of interest or historic house, the guide will stop and tell a related story of hauntings or bizarre occurrences which happened on that property either in the past or is still happening today. Tours are given every Friday and Saturday night beginning September 25th and ending November 7th. Please note that the tours may not be appropriate for children of 8 years and younger. Tickets are $14 each and $10 each for groups of 10 or more. Tours will start at Bahoukas, 408 N. The National Geographic Live Speaker Series kicks off with Coral Kingdoms and Empires of Ice on Thursday, October 29, at 7:30 p.m. in the Amoss Center at Harford Community College, 401 Thomas Run Road in Bel Air. The evening features underwater photographer David Doubilet, who has spent nearly half his life in the sea and photographed more than 70 stories for National Geographic magazine, and aquatic biologist and photojournalist Jennifer Hayes, his wife and underwater partner.
