Things to do this weekend around Bel Air include the last few days of the Harford County Farm Fair, which ends Saturday, the Bel Air Downtown Alliance’s free Summer Movie Night event, which continues Friday with a showing of the movie “Storks” in Shamrock Park and a reception at the Liriodendron mansion is to be held Sunday featuring the artwork of the late Carol Wolosik her daughter and granddaughter.

Harford County’s beloved Farm Fair is celebrating 30 years with exciting new attractions, extended hours, and lower prices. The annual fair highlights Harford County’s heritage and agricultural roots. The Bel Air Downtown Alliance’s free Summer Movie Night event continues July 28 with a showing of the movie “Storks”. The event is 7:15 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Shamrock Park in Bel Air. Here are the details: Six times a year, our community comes together to watch movies under the stars in Downtown Bel Air. Brought to you by Patient First and Katzen Eye Group, Bel Air Downtown Alliance’s Summer Movie Nights are a great time and place to bring the whole family for a fun and free movie night at Shamrock Park with pre-movie entertainment provided by the Bel Air Cultural Arts Commission. Our movies are not only free and family friendly (rated pg) but also come with free popcorn sponsored. Free face painting will be provided by Bambini Family Entertainment, Inc.. Pre-movie entertainment provided by the Bel Air Cultural Arts Commission starts at 7:15pm and the movies start at sunset. We encourage you to park at the Bel Air Garage. Half-Off Fridays! at the Lutheran Mission Society Hickory Compassion Center, July 28

Visit us at the Lutheran Mission Society Hickory Compassion Center for “Half-Off Fridays!” Our gently-used items (clothing, housewares, furnishings, etc.) are 50% off all day. Reception for late artist Carol Wolosik at the Liriodendron, July 30

The Liriodendron mansion is hosting a reception from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. July 30 for the daughter and granddaughter of the late artist Carol Wolosik whose artwork is on exhibit there through Sept. 3. Wolosik was a master herbalist, teacher and served as director of the Liriodendron’s gallery for more than 20 years. The reception will include light refreshments.
