Hotel for Dogs movie at Shamrock Park
The annual Outdoor Movies at Shamrock Park series hosted by the Bel Air Downtown Alliance  is showing the movie Hotel for Dogs at dusk tonight (Friday, June 25). Click here for details.

Darlington Independence Day parade & Fireworks
Darlington starts its celebration first with a parade this Saturday, June 26. The parade starts at 5:30 p.m. at the weigh station on Route 1. Fireworks are set to go off at dusk at Francis Silver Park in Darlington. Bring a lawn chair or blanket.

Softball car wash fundraiser
18U Forest Hill HEAT fundraising car is at the Forest Hill BP gas station 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, June 26. Girls’ softball team is washing cars to raise money to get them to their World Series tournament in Salisbury, Md. in July. Click here for details.

Cookies for Kids’ Cancer Yard & Bake Sale and the Aberdeen Moose Lodge community Yard & Bake Sale Saturday, June 26 to support Cookies for Kids’ Cancer 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Aberdeen Moose Lodge on 102 S. Rogers Street in Aberdeen. Click here for details.

Multi-Family Yard Sale
8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, June 26 on Yankee Doodle Dr. in Bel Air. It’s off of Vale Rd., but Red Pump is closed. Take Marywood or use the Vale rd to Ipswich to Yankee Doodle.

Another one nearby on Sunday: Lots of infant and toddler items for sale 8 a.m. to noon Sunday June 27 on Athlone Dr. in Bel Air’s Valewood Estates development at the intersection of Vale and Red Pump roads. Click here for details.
