Harford County has plenty of pumpkin farms to pick from. I’ve been to several and I’m sure you have too. Please share your tips and picks in the comments section below and let me know which ones I’ve missed.

Hawk’s Hill Creamery

Hawk’s Hill Creamery in Street offers free admission and is open Saturdays 11 to 7, Sunday 2 to 6 for all fall activities. It’s open everyday until dark for ice cream and pumkins, other activities only on weekends. Private parties available with reservations any time or day. Free hayride, pumpkin picking, pumpkin painting, face painting, straw man making (with your own old clothes), farm animals to visit.

Items to buy:  6 local farms are participating, Jams, honey, mums, baked goods and candy apples, beef, fall crafts, cider, cheese, eggs, ice cream…ALL LOCAL!

Brad’s Produce

Brad’s produce has pumpkins, produce and a corn maze open through Halloween. They also offer weekend birthday parties.

Harman’s Farm Market

Harman’s Farm Market has pumpkins and hayrides to get you to the pumpkin patch along with a straw bale maze for kids and a fresh produce stand.

Hours are: Monday – Friday 10:00am – 6:00 pm;  Saturday and Sunday  10:00am – 5:00 pm


Harman’s Farm Market is located on Rt. 22 in Churchville, Harford County, Maryland.  We are just west of the intersection of Routes 136 and 22. Click here for directions.

Applewood Farm

Applewood Farm in Whiteford is open for pumpkin picking on weekends starting Oct. 2. Hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday’s and Sundays. The entrance gate closes at 3:45 p.m., so don’t wait until the last minute! Admission is $3 per person. Children under age 3 are free. Once inside, Applewood offers Hayrides, Petting Zoo, Corn Maze, Kiddie Maze, Lawn Bowling, Reindeer Antler Toss, Model Hayrides and more. For an additional $3 you can ride the Applewood Train.

Sunny Hill Farm
