Good news for those who’ve been inconvenienced and delayed by the roundabout construction on Wheel and Laurel Bush roads. I just heard back from Scott Kearby, Deputy Director of the Division of Construction Management for the county’s public works department and he said it looks like that project should finish by next week, a week ahead of their scheduled Nov. 12 completion date. It all depends on the weather, however. Crews lose a day of work for every day of rain. The forecast is calling for rain tomorrow, but the rest of the week looks clear. Kearby says that crews are just a few days away from paving operations.
