Spenceola Antiques vendors have moved to the new Country Boy Antique Center in Rising Sun

I found where the Spenceola Antiques Center vendors went. They are now at Country Boy Antique Center at 1320 Rock Springs Road in Rising Sun, Md. According to the Country Boy website, Dennis Wagner and his daughters, who were vendors at Spenceola, opened the Country Boy Antique Center just last month about two weeks after Spenceola closed its doors. Wagner describes the new place as a “multi-dealer co-op offering fine quality antiques, china, collectibles, jewelry, coins, home decor, and much more.” The new store is next to the Rock Spring Deli and they have a grand opening event scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 9. Radio station 103.7 WXCY is scheduled to be on hand to broadcast  Senator Nancy Jacobs performing the 1 p.m. ribbon cutting. There will be door prizes and promotions at the antique center while next door at the deli, there will be face painting, pumpkin painting and an apple pie baking contest.
