Done with your Christmas tree? You can haul it to a county disposal center or wait until February for HSS curbside pick up


If you have your trash picked up by Harford Sanitation Services (now Waste Industries USA, Inc.) they will pick up your Christmas tree curbside. But you’ll have to wait until Feb. 5. According to the company’s website:

“Complimentary Christmas tree pick ups will take place Saturday February 5th and Saturday February 19th ONLY.”

If you’d prefer not to hold onto your Christmas tree for the next month, you can cart it yourself to one of four Harford County disposal centers where the trees will be ground into mulch as as party of the county’s 22-year-old Christmas tree recycling program.
