Bel Air Farmers Market opens for the season Saturday; Tuesday market to open mid-May

The Bel Air Farmers Market opens for the season at 7 a.m. Saturday, April 14 at the corner of 2 S. Bond and Thomas Streets in the Mary Risteau Building parking lot. The market is open 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. every Saturday through mid-October. It offers local seasonal vegetables and fruits, annuals, perennials, cheese, organic vendors, baked goods, milk, beef chicken and pork. The market accepts cash, checks, WIC FMNP, WIC FVC and senior coupons.

The Tuesday Bel Air Farmers Market is expected to open mid-May at a new location this year in the lot next to The Main Street Tower Restaurant at 33 S. Main St., Bel Air.
