Dog of the Week – MOOSE
Age: 2 years
Breed: American Pit Bull Terrier Mix
Adoption Fee: $80
Hi there, I’m Moose and I’m a ladies man with my dashing good looks! I have a heart of gold and can be quite the comedian. Bring me treats or any toy, and you will instantly be my best friend. I do need some work on my leash manners because I don’t know my own strength. But with some training (I’m a fast learner), I’ll learn not to pull and I’ll be the perfect walking companion in no time. I get along with other dogs and enjoy meeting everyone. I just have so much love to go around. I’d be a great addition to any household. Whether you’re looking for a hiking companion or just someone to lounge on the couch with, I’m your man! Come on out to the shelter today and ask to see Moose! I guarantee you will fall in love with me at first sight!
Cat of the Week – SHY GUY
Ages: 1.5 years
Color: Black & Tan Tabby
Breed: Domestic Shorthair Mix
Adoption Fee: FREE
Meet Shy Guy, a handsome black and tan tabby kitty who loves other cats and is very playful. With Shy Guy you get the energy of a kitten without all the silliness. Shy is here at the shelter because his owner’s landlord didn’t allow pets. Shy’s owner said that until he gets to know you, Shy can be (you guessed it) shy and timid. He would love a quiet, patient home that will give him lots of love until he feels comfortable and can come out of his shell. If you have room in your heart and home for a sweet, young kitty, please stop by and give Shy a chance! We have a feeling that once he gets acclimated, you’ll need to change his name to Love Bug! For a limited time, the shelter is offering all cats and kittens for free.
Small Critter of the Week – OREO
Age: 7 months
Color: Brown & White
Adoption Fee: $50
Ferrets are affectionate, playful and although they are independent, they enjoy human interaction. Their mischievous and playful nature makes them entertaining companions. Although small and quiet, ferrets will surprise and delight you with what they can do and learn. They recognize their name, respond to verbal and visual commands and can even learn to do tricks. They can also be litter box trained. Come meet Oreo in our Critter Cottage real soon!
