The St. Margaret Fall Festival Yard Sale is 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sept. 25, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sept. 26 and 8 a.m. to noon Sept. 27, when everything is half price. The Havre Grace Farmer’s Market has moved to a new location new location in Hutchins Park at the foot of Congress Avenue. Steppingstone Farm Museum’s Fall Harvest and Craft Festival, Sept. 26 & 27

Steppingstone Farm Museum hosts its Fall Harvest and Craft Festival is 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 26 & 27 at the museum, 461 Quaker Bottom Rd. in Havre de Grace. Admission is $10 for adults. Children 12 and under and museum members are free. This event will feature activities such as craft booths; scarecrow making; pumpkin painting; apple bobbing & pressing; apple butter making; hay rides; straw maze; petting zoo; Punch & Judy and magic shows; bluegrass and traditional music; food; and tours. The Maryland State Police and the Maryland Transportation Authority Police are hosting a I-95 Safety Fair from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 26 at the Perryville Barrack. National Geographic Live Speaker Series at Harford Community College, Oct. 29

The National Geographic Live Speaker Series kicks off with Coral Kingdoms and Empires of Ice on Thursday, October 29, at 7:30 p.m. in the Amoss Center at Harford Community College, 401 Thomas Run Road in Bel Air. The evening features underwater photographer David Doubilet, who has spent nearly half his life in the sea and photographed more than 70 stories for National Geographic magazine, and aquatic biologist and photojournalist Jennifer Hayes, his wife and underwater partner. A reception with the speakers takes place in Darlington Hall from 6:15 to 7 p.m. Tickets to the reception and premier seating at the lecture are $40 per person. Sixteen ordinary Harford County residents, including two high school students, will be transformed into graceful ballroom dancers as they compete in Harford County’s Center for the Arts annual “Dancing for the Arts” Gala.  The gala takes place Saturday, November 21 from 6:30-11:30 p.m. at the Maryland Golf and Country Club, with all proceeds benefitting the non-profit organization that is working to build a home for the arts in Harford County.
